John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

It’s overwhelming, greater than we’ll ever know, and never-ending.

We’ve all heard the song Reckless Love, but do you truly understand why His love for us is Reckless?

Dying for the sins of the world, hanging on a cross and suffering a gruesome death, that to us would seem reckless right? Who in their right mind, if they were sinless, blameless, had made no mistake and didn’t deserve to be crucified would agree to such a death? Jesus, that’s who. And why? Because of his great love for you and me. He saw us, sinners, and knew what our fate would be if he didn’t take such a reckless action. His love is so reckless, it sent him to a cross, to die for you and me.

Listen to this song and take time to reflect on that reckless love. Journal about it, sing about it, or sit silently and pounder it.
