Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Even in the midst of uncertainty, we serve a God big enough to lean on. We serve a God of love and provision.
How does your anxious heart need to rest today? How can the creator of the universe give you peace today? No matter the size of your fear or how weighty your stresses seem, God is so much bigger and so capable of stepping in and caring for you.
Today, even in the midst of your fear and worry, take a second to stop and remember one solid truth; you are a child of the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. The very God that created the heavens and the earth formed you. He sculpted a masterpiece when he made you. Every personality trait, every fibre of your being, every quirk, was intentional. Wouldn’t a God who took his precious time forming you, take his precious time comforting and caring for you?
We’re his sons and daughters and as a good good father, he longs to meet us where we’re at. Today may be a day filled with fears and obstacles. We might feel so overwhelmed by everything our world is facing, leaving us momentarily hopeless. But we have a source of hope that covers every fear, every concern, every worry. We have a holy hope in a God who loves us unconditionally. We have a holy hope in a heavenly father who’s with us every day.
Take a second today and acknowledge the Lord. Whether that be quietly in your bed before you fall asleep, over a cup of coffee in the morning, or in the business of your day. Stop and in your heart acknowledge Jesus’ place here with you. Remember your identity as a child of God and press on.
