Romans 8:26
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”

Are you lost for words; unsure what to even start to pray about when there’s so much buzzing around your busy brain? It’s ok. Slow your thoughts, fold your hands and meet Jesus in the quiet of your soul. It’s there, in the innermost part of your heart where he longs to bring peace and rest. It’s there that even on the hardest of days he longs to settle in and make a home.

When you pray, do not worry over what to say and how to say it. Trust that the Holy Spirit is living in your heart and is there to guide you along in your prayers.

Today, as you sit before Jesus and spend time journaling, reading your bible, and praying, try asking the Holy Spirit to move inside you. Try waiting patiently for a sweet awareness of the Holy Spirit, of Jesus’ heart, of the Father’s love.
