Hebrews 13:8.

“Jesus Chris is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

So many people have been saying the phrase unprecedented times for us. Yes that is true, it’s crazy. When in the history of the United States have there been a country-wide ban for gatherings of 10 or more people? When have they shot down entire states? Some of these thing have never happened before and it can be scary. But something that remains absolutely true is the fact that these might be unprecedented times for us, but they are by no means unprecedented times for God

God has been and always will be. God was around when the Black Plague happened. God was there when World Wars happen. Coronavirus does not scare him, Coronavirus has no power over him. Coronavirus does not come as a surprise to him. So how do we respond to this? What do we do in times like this?

Psalms 62:8  says, “Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” Trust in him at all times. Not some of the time, all the time. We are called to pour our hearts out to him. Be honest with God. Tell him your fears and ask him the questions you have. He is our Refuge. I would encourage you to spend some times on your knees. Pouring out your heart out to God, praising him, expressing your worries, saying what is making you anxious, and being 100 percent real with him. God is our Refuge.

Today, when you turn on the news or read another COVID-19 article stop and verbally say to God, “I know you’ve got this.” Don’t be crippled by fear. Rather, make a conscience nod to the truth of God being bigger than all this.
