Romans 12:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Worship is a wild thing. And worshipping the Lord of the universe is the wildest thing we can do. The fabric of our being is knit so sweetly together with this inherent need to praise our creator, worship the one who so tenderly made us who we are. In every step you take and every word you speak, there is a chance, a moment to worship.
Jesus, the savior of the world is not only worthy of your worship, he’s so full of wonder and wisdom leaving us overwhelmed with no other way to respond than through worship.
Today, slow down and truly think about all Jesus has done for you. Don’t just think of the roof over your head and the food you eat for dinner. Think of the reckless love he pours over you, all through his death and resurrection. Think of the forgiveness he so graciously offers you. He’s wonderful and worthy of your worship today, tomorrow, and forever.
